PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an industrial equipment supplier located in Mooresville, NC!

The ideal candidate will verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments involving inventory. Duties include verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material and arranging for the transportation of products, and preparing items for shipment.

Location: Mooresville, NC 28115

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr. Based on experience

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma - or the equivalent
• Forklift certification
• Competent clerical skills – data entry
• 24-36 months of logistics and customer service experience
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Dynamic attention to detail
• Outstanding Interpersonal skills
• Must be motivated and a self-starter
• Physical Strength
• Engages vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Basic math & computer skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to continually learn and develop new skills
• Great problem-solving skills
• Flexibility is a must
• Capability of working as a team (with co-workers)
• Capacity to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to left up to 50 lbs.
• Competence to perform job duties with minimal supervision
• Ability to adhere to strict timelines without compromising safety quality

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging, and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments.
• Ensure the correct packages are received and stocked appropriately.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Promptly & safely unloads trucks and deliveries, sorts, and stocks receivables.
• Manage the shipment and receipt of orders related to products, materials, supplies or consumer goods.
• Unloading/unpacking, verifying products.
• Preparing shipping documents.
• Inventory/cycle count audits
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
