Nurse Coordinator Infusion Services
An award-winning health system based in central North Carolina is now seeking an experienced Nurse Coordinator Infusion Services to join their accredited healthcare network!

The Nurse Coordinator Infusion Services will lead daily operations and deliver high-quality patient care in an outpatient infusion setting. The Nurse Coordinator manages patient scheduling and throughput; performs pre-infusion assessments; verifies orders, labs, and consents; oversees safe administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood products, and supportive IV therapies; monitors and manages infusion reactions; ensures IV access and central line maintenance; provides patient and family education; triages calls and symptoms; collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacy, and scheduling teams; optimizes chair utilization and staffing; mentors and supports nursing team; ensures adherence to evidence-based protocols, medication safety, and infection prevention; documents thoroughly in the EMR; tracks and improves quality metrics and patient satisfaction; resolves workflow issues; coordinates prior authorizations with revenue cycle; and manages inventory and supplies while supporting regulatory and accreditation readiness.
What's Needed to Succeed:
- Degree from an accredited Nursing program
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of North Carolina or ability to obtain upon hire
- Proven clinical leadership experience in an infusion setting
