Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: Asheville, NC – Franklin/Macon County (North Carolina nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/22/2025 – 3/23/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360–$1460
• Setting: Home Health / Homecare
• Patient Load: 5-6 patients per day
• Documentation System: HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
• Dress Code: Navy blue or navy/white scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health or hospice nursing experience
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for patient home visits
• Strong clinical assessment and electronic documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily homecare caseload
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Homecare RN Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to home health and hospice patients in Franklin/Macon County
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques
• Document all care provided using the HCHB (Homecare Homebase) system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and healthcare regulatory requirements
