Salary: $99K - 115K Annually
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Automotive Retail Sales Training Director to deliver engaging, effective training programs for retail sales teams across our automotive network. This role focuses on equipping sales professionals with the skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies necessary to drive performance and enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for automotive retail sales associates and managers.
- Deliver curriculum focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, compliance, and customer experience best practices.
- Adapt training delivery to diverse audiences and learning styles.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and brand standards.
- Provide feedback and coaching to participants to reinforce learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate training records and report on participant progress and program effectiveness.
- Stay current on automotive industry trends, product updates, and retail sales strategies.
QualificationsQualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 3+ years in automotive retail sales, desking, and/or training facilitation. Proven ability to deliver engaging training sessions in both classroom and virtual environments.
Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to manage group dynamics and foster interactive learning. Proficiency with virtual training platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred: Automotive OEM or dealership experience; certification in adult learning or training methodologies.
Competency Profile: Adaptability, Leadership, Customer Focus, Collaboration.
Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel to dealership locations and regional training events.
