Automation Project Scheduler
Technical Source is seeking an experienced Automation Project Scheduler to support a large-scale automation-driven capital expansion at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in North Carolina.
This is a project controls role focused on owning and maintaining complex construction and automation schedules across multiple technical disciplines. This is not a cost control or traditional PM role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & control construction, C&Q, and automation schedules
- Build logic-driven schedules in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Coordinate sequencing across Utilities, HVAC, BAS, DeltaV, PLCs, MES
- Align FAT, SAT, install, commissioning timelines
- Identify critical path risks
- Provide stakeholder schedule reporting
- Support commissioning & validation readiness
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years project scheduling experience
- Ownership of $50M+ Capex schedules
- Built schedules from scratch (WBS + logic control)
- Advanced Primavera and/or MS Project
- Automation milestone exposure (FAT, SAT, commissioning)
- Industrial or pharma manufacturing experience
Preferred:
- Biopharma capital projects
- DeltaV / PLC / MES familiarity
- CSV impact awareness
- Utilities + automation coordination experience
