Registered Nurse Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 - $1,870 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Telemetry Unit (3 East CHF Telemetry)
• Location: Greensboro, NC 27401 (North Carolina nursing jobs)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/23/2025, End: 12/23/2025)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend; must be available for major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Size: 30 beds, average daily census of 30
• Charting System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (RN license must be in hand at submission)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required for cardiac telemetry nursing jobs)
• Epic charting experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float to other hospital units or campuses as needed
• Education verification through third party required
• No local candidates accepted (must live outside 50-mile radius of Greensboro, NC)
• Background check with no open cases
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac and respiratory patients, including CHF, NSTEMI, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, COPD, and pneumonia
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and vital signs for adult and geriatric patients
• Administer blood products, cardiac drips, and insulin drips as needed
• Perform central line care, feeding tube management, and IV starts
• Implement isolation precautions and manage high flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Float to other nursing units as required
• Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules
