The Opportunity

As a Senior PHP Developer, you'll join a dynamic engineering team where you'll have a direct influence on the architecture and success of mission-critical privacy and data security products. We're offering a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to advance into a Director of Engineering role within 18 months, while working on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Write high-quality code aligned with product requirements that actually protects people's privacy

  • Build web applications, RESTful APIs, and efficient algorithms that handle millions of privacy requests

  • Optimize application performance, security, and browser compatibility for enterprise-scale deployments

  • Lead feature implementation and redesign complex interfaces that make privacy compliance intuitive

  • Influence technical decisions to ensure quality, scalability, reliability, and security

  • Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and growth

  • Act as a client-facing technical leader during implementation phases with Fortune 100 companies

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on deadlines

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (required)

  • Strong experience with LAMP/LEMP stack and Linux command line proficiency

  • Proven ability to build scalable, load-balanced web applications and APIs

  • Ability to be in a client-facing capacity as needed during the implementation phase

  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience with ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work from Greenville, DE or Falls Church, VA office 2-3 days per week (company-paid relocation available)

  • Frontend: ReactJS, JQuery, Bootstrap

  • Backend & API: RESTful APIs, AJAX, microservices architecture

  • Performance & Messaging: Redis, RabbitMQ

  • Cloud & Containers: Docker, AWS, IaaS, PaaS, Elastic Search

  • DevOps Tools: Git, Bitbucket, third-party testing frameworks
