Delivery Lead Overview

The Delivery Lead will manage day-to-day operations as they relate to scheduling, routing, unloading, staging, and the inventory process. This individual will be an essential part to the cornerstone of UST's growth and success that is built upon the expectation that EVERY team member will Execute Excellence Every time - simply known internally as E3.

Responsibilities

(include, but are not limited to)

• Communicates with customers and delivery team manager on progress and potential delays
• Completes any scheduled reporting
• Directs and assists the drivers in completing their deliveries
• Ensures all in-home damage claims are being properly handled
• Ensures that all shipping goals are obtained daily
• Inspects the prep lines to ensure they are complete and in good condition
• Maintains a positive working relationship with all team members
• Monitors routes through the routing system and maintains the updating of delivery logs
• Oversees loading and unloading of all delivery vehicles

Requirements

• Ability to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Effective written and verbal communication
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Knowledge of DOT compliance
• Previous experience in Distribution, 3PL, or In-home Delivery operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Valid Driver's License
