Job Title: Block Chain Developer

Location: Qualified candidates need to be located in Research Triangle, North Carolina
Job Type: [Full-Time/Contract]
Reports To: VP of Engineering

Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Blockchain Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting blockchain-based systems. You will work closely with our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement blockchain-based solutions and smart contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and applications.
• Optimize and maintain existing blockchain solutions for performance and scalability.
• Ensure the security and integrity of blockchain implementations.
• Research and stay updated on the latest blockchain technologies and trends.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, Binance Smart Chain, or others.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and decentralized applications (DApps).
• Familiarity with smart contract development and testing frameworks such as Truffle, Hardhat, or Remix.
• Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like React or Angular is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Layer 2 solutions, sidechains, or cross-chain communication.
• Familiarity with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and DeFi protocols.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for blockchain deployment.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
