Position Overview: The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for efficiently handling, sorting, organizing, and moving IT equipment throughout the facility to support production and logistics operations. This role involves sorting, labeling, and tracking computer hardware by vendor, model, and serial number, ensuring all materials are accurately processed and ready for the next stage of production. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of warehouse experience and a working knowledge of computer hardware components. Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and sort incoming technology assets, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and related IT equipment.
• Accurately sort materials by vendor, model, and serial number to maintain organized inventory flow.
• Identify, label, and track assets through internal inventory management systems.
• Inspect and handle computer hardware to identify model types, specifications, and condition.
• Stage materials for departments such as Receiving, Audit, Repair, and Shipping.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring timely movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling environment.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware (Laptops, Notebooks, Tablets, etc.)
• Experience in sorting and tracking materials preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely and frequently.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy; ability to use bar-code scanners and inventory systems.
• Forklift Certification or experience desired.
• Experience in ITAD, electronics, or computer refurbishing environments preferred.

The expected salary range for this position is $12.00 per hour. PlanITROI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more.
