Location: Hillsborough, NCJob Type: Full-Time onsite
Salary: $30,000-38,000 per year
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipment processing—primarily involving pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accuracy, accountability, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments in accordance with customer requirements
- Assist with temperature-controlled packaging for pharmaceutical products (-25°C to -15°C, 2–8°C, CRT)
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse conditions
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments
- Follow all safety procedures and company SOPs
- Support quality assurance processes and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred (pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a plus)
- Experience working in a GMP/GDP environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems, shipping platforms such as FedEx/UPS)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling temperature-sensitive shipments
- Familiarity with lot control and expiration date tracking
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (FDA, DEA, or similar)
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
- May require standing for extended periods
- Occasional overtime based on operational needs
