Position: Occupational Therapist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and contribute to our mission of helping individuals achieve their highest level of functioning and independence.

Job Summary: As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities. Your goal will be to help our patients regain their ability to perform daily activities and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional abilities and limitations

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals

- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and equipment to improve patients' physical and cognitive abilities

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients

- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve daily functioning and prevent further disability

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes

- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Flexibility to work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend rotation
