CAD Technician/Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Expert Technical Solutions is seeking a CAD Technician/Surveyor for an exciting opportunity with an employee-owned top design firm. This will be a full-time, hybrid position in either their Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, NC offices.

DAY-TO-DAY:

• Produce and revise boundary, topographic, wastewater, easement, and construction survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Interpret field data collected by survey crews and convert it into CAD deliverables

• Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to prepare site development and civil design plans

• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and state regulations

• Assist in managing project deadlines and CAD standards

• Support licensure efforts (if unlicensed) with mentorship and professional development opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 5+ years of experience as a CAD Technician in land surveying or civil engineering

• Experience working in both office and field environments

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
