DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Maintenance – Level III person to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN .

Job Summary:

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must possess direct experience in troubleshooting and breaking down various CNC machines, forging presses, furnaces, SPM, etc.

• Should be knowledgeable about CNC machine architecture, PLC programming, mechanical drawings, hydraulic systems, etc.

• Familiarity with forging presses and billet heating systems is essential.

• Firsthand experience with Fanuc robots is considered an added advantage.

• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to resolve minor and critical issues with a proactive "yes I can do it" attitude.

• It is necessary to provide detailed, clear, and accurate data through EMaint, including downtime, information, labor, etc.

• Routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities must be performed.

• Adherence to safety norms and guidelines.

• Active participation in turnover and improvement meetings is expected.
