Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Monroe, North Carolina. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional ready to step into a high-volume vascular and cardiac environment with no weekends, no call, and major holidays off.

Job Details:

• Schedule: MondayFriday, 08:0017:00

• Length: 13-week contract, renewable in 13-week cycles

• Setting: 1 Cath Lab, 1 IR Lab, 7 bays prep/recovery

• Flow: 23 caths in the morning, afternoons may include procedural/IR overflow cases

• Scrub Color: Provided

• Parking: Free

Department Overview:

• Patient Types: Cardiac, device placement, vascular needs, pacemaker/defibrillator procedures, ports, PICCs, arteriograms, nephrostomy tubes, UAE, Hickman

• Heavy vascular focus: LE angiograms, fistulagrams, interventional cases, PE, DVT, thrombolytics, venograms, fistula creation

• Cath Lab: right and left heart caths with interventions, pericardiocentesis, mostly radial but some femoral

• Support: Cath Lab leadership, Nursing Supervisor, Charge RN, RNs, RTRs, and RCIS-trained staff

• Unit Culture: Teamwork-oriented, small team of ~20 staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum: 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience

• Prior travel: At least one completed 13-week assignment required (no first-time travelers)

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS

• Systems experience: EPIC/Encompass and MERGE (required hard stop candidates without this experience will be declined)

• Must be comfortable scrubbing and recording in listed cases (RNs circulate)

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC/Encompass

• Imaging/Monitoring: MERGE, Philips monitors, Siemens X-ray

• Unit-specific: Merge Hemo, balloon pumps (occasional)

• Other: Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing

Orientation:

• 1-day NEO

• ARL assignments (3045 days to complete)

• 2-day department-specific training

Scheduling & Expectations:

• No weekends

• No call

• Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day

• RTO: Manager approval
