Pride Health is seeking a Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Technician – Granulation/Blend/Bead Coating to join a team in Wilson, North Carolina.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Technician will efficiently, effectively, and safely clean, set up, and operate machinery in the manufacturing area while adhering to cGMPs, SOPs, FDA, and DEA guidelines . This role primarily involves granulation, blending, and bead coating operations for oral solid dose (OSD) products.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Master Batch Records for manufacturing controlled oral solid dose (OSD) and other dosage forms.
• Prepare raw materials, blend, and ensure bulk accountability throughout processes.
• Perform weight checks and operate scales, ensuring proper setup, verification, and compliance.
• Set up, operate, and clean manufacturing equipment (granulators, blenders, coaters, compression machines, encapsulators, etc.).
• Conduct in-process testing (tablet thickness, hardness, friability, visual inspections, etc.).
• Clean and sanitize manufacturing rooms and equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP standards.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, and quality issues promptly.
• Support GMP investigations and contribute to SOP writing when required.
• Participate in team meetings and operational excellence initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: Up to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or equivalent mechanical/technical experience.
• Experience in granulation and bead coating operations is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic to advanced mathematical computations (metric system familiarity required).
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-site as scheduled.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Lift/maneuver empty drums up to 40 lbs and drums with product up to 275 lbs (with assistance).
• Ability to assemble/disassemble equipment (parts up to 50 lbs).
• Wear appropriate PPE, including PAPR respirators.
• Occasionally climb ladders/stairs/platforms and transport materials.

Additional Information:

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893
• Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM)
• Contract Length: 6–12 months
• Pay Rate: $18 - $21/hour
