ICU RN Travel Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470 - $2540
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Setting: ICU – Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, Emergency Department (ED), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: November 3, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Block Option: Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon available
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR System: Epic

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York State or compact; or willingness to obtain for New York nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in a Level I trauma center or similar acute care setting
• Ability to float between multiple ICU units (Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, ED, PACU)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Competency in caring for critically ill patients across diverse ICU specialties
• Successful completion of competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Up-to-date email required for onboarding and testing
• Navy blue scrubs required

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings
• Float between ICU units as needed, including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, ED, and PACU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
• Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
