Automotive Mechanic/ Inspector

Based in our dynamic Granville facility, we’re looking for a passionate Automotive Inspector to inspect newly purchased and sourced vehicles for defects, ensuring every ride meets the highest standards. You'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with our sourcing team to bring only the best vehicles to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect newly acquired used cars at the facility for mechanical/ other integrity. Sometimes this might require travelling to our partner locations

• Compare condition vs our company reconditioning standards and identify actions required

• Safety check over and test drives

• Identify required item repairs and cosmetic defects

• Diagnose and fault find any issues with vehicles

• Carry out required repairs to vehicles

• Quality control and final inspection pre delivery

Requirements

🔧 What We're Looking For:

• Valid Driver’s License – You’ve got the skills to drive both manual and automatic vehicles with ease.
• Mechanical Knowledge & Experience – You’re no stranger to the inner workings of a car, and you know how to spot potential issues.
• Time Management Mastery – You know how to juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything on track.
• Previous Vehicle Inspection Experience – You’ve got hands-on experience in inspecting vehicles and ensuring they’re in tip-top shape.
• Clear Communication Skills – Whether it’s verbal or written, you’re able to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Tech-Savvy – Basic knowledge of Excel/G-sheets , and you’re comfortable navigating iPhones/iPads like a pro.
• Self-Starter Attitude – You thrive on taking initiative, managing tasks independently, and making things happen.
• A “Nothing is Impossible” Mindset – With the right support, you believe that you can conquer any challenge!
• Team Player – You’re excellent at collaborating and working seamlessly with different teams to achieve common goals.
