Dry Cleaning Presser
A Cleaner World, a leading dry cleaning and laundry services provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dry Cleaning or Shirt Presser to join our team. As a garment presser, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machines to ensure that garments are properly pressed and finished to meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various press machines, including shirt press, pants press, and other equipment used in the dry cleaning process
- Inspect garments to ensure they are properly cleaned and free of any stains or damages before pressing
- Use steam, heat, and pressure to press and shape garments according to customer requests
- Ensure that garments are pressed and finished to meet our high-quality standards
- Handle garments with care to avoid any damages or wrinkles
- Keep the work area clean and organized at all times
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
- Familiarity with various press machines and equipment used in the dry cleaning process
- Ability to read and interpret customer requests and follow specific instructions
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours
