Compensation & Benefits

  1. Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Nutritional Care Integration:
  2. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to address nutritional needs.
  3. Conduct nutritional assessments and recommend interventions.
  4. Communicate dietary plans with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  5. Menu Planning:
  6. Review and adjust menu cycles to meet residents’ dietary preferences and requirements.
  7. Develop systems for non-routine modified diets.
  8. Care Plan Development:
  9. Create and update dietary care plans tailored to resident needs.
  10. Educate staff and families on dietary requirements and food preferences.
  11. Quality Assurance:
  12. Monitor food quality, temperature, and portion sizes for acceptability.
  13. Evaluate department sanitation, safety, and equipment standards.
  14. Participate in audits and implement quality improvements.
  15. Documentation & Compliance:
  16. Maintain accurate records of resident responses and dietary interventions.
  17. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  18. Safety & Professional Development:
  19. Follow OSHA standards, infection control, and workplace safety protocols.
  20. Stay updated on dietetics through continuing education.

Qualifications

  1. Education:
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or equivalent.
  3. Completion of the Registered Dietitian Exam.
  4. Experience:
  5. Minimum of 2 years in a clinical dietetic role preferred.
  6. Certifications:
  7. Registered Dietitian (RD) credential in good standing with the American Dietetic Association.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
