The Role of the Technical Supervisor:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the technical department
• Ensure the team is meeting and exceeding customer service requirements
• Report to the General Manager
• Plan, develop, and execute the company’s strategy for the future development of the department
• Develop and implement programs and training to ensure that technicians are aligned with the goals of the department
• Hire, supervise, schedule, assess, train, and coach technicians
• Plan production routes for each work day and allocate work to the team
• Ensure all technical equipment is in order
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as required, to meet the goals of the company

Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Advanced problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Proven time management
• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
• Strong technical knowledge
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid pesticide applicators license, or willingness to obtain one

Education

• Post-secondary education

Experience

• 2-3 years in a management position in a related industry
• Previous experience in lawn care is considered an asset, but is not required!
