Production Worker - Forklift Operator

Duties of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator:

• Complete the sit-down forklift certification process.
• Ensure the forklift is stored correctly, fueled, cleaned, maintained, and ready for daily operation.
• Safely and effectively operate the baler.
• Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.
• Move inventory and materials to proper locations throughout the facility.
• Submit inventory records and logs at the close of the day.
• Follow instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties.
• Must become familiar with and adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Be willing to perform tasks as required by management. Duties and responsibilities in this posting are not all-inclusive.

Requirements of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator:

• At least 1 Year of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work at a pace required to meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changes or modifications.
• Ability to work safely and effectively as a member of a team.
• Must be conscientious and meticulous in paying attention to detail.
• Availability to work required shifts and hours is required.
• Computer Savvy
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Pay & Schedule of the Production Worker/Forklift Operator:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Starting pay is $16.50 - $17.50 an hour DOE
• Temp-to-hire position
