Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 76k/year - Matthews, NC
- Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage the daily flow of incoming and outgoing materials. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory control, on-time shipments, and efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, verify, and process outbound shipments according to customer and carrier requirements
- Coordinate pickups with freight carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel)
- Generate packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping documentation
- Ensure products are packaged properly to prevent damage
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
- Record receipts in ERP or inventory management system
- Communicate discrepancies, damages, or shortages to purchasing and vendors
- Label and route materials to appropriate locations
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and cycle counts
- Support inventory audits and reconciliation
- Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams
- Maintain organized warehouse and staging areas
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience, required
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, shipping software)
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 56k - 76k/year range
