TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Highlands, North Carolina, 28741!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS CPI (preferred) Must-Have: Experience in care of geriatric patients or past inpatient rehabilitation experience with swing bed patients. Advanced skills in wound care. Description: This position involves working in a unit with a capacity of 24 beds. The expected patient ratio is 6-7:1. There are no unit secretaries, techs, or additional RNs available when a tech is not present. Standard medical-surgical equipment is utilized on the unit. The documentation system used is Cerner. Scheduling requires three 12-hour shifts per week. Floating to other units is rare. Candidates should be prepared for an affluent community experience, with concierge service expected. The work culture emphasizes excellent teamwork and collaboration among staff. Current vacancies are due to challenges in recruitment, not issues with unit performance.
