Licensed Clinical Social Worker

**Job-Specific Details and Responsibilities:**

The primary responsibilities of the Healthcare Worker (HCW) encompass the following:

- Facilitate appropriate referrals to community resources and government agencies for comprehensive service delivery.

- Conduct independent assessments of the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their families. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that identify patient difficulties, strengths, weaknesses, coping mechanisms, and required support, in collaboration with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary treatment team.

- Perform thorough psychosocial evaluations and deliver treatment services to a diverse array of clients, spanning various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.

- Leverage understanding of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and therapeutic interventions, including acute, chronic, and traumatic conditions, as well as familiarity with pharmacological agents and associated side effects, alongside relevant medical terminology.

- Apply evidence-based treatment modalities when working with individuals, families, and groups facing a range of psychiatric, medical, and psychosocial challenges, aiming to achieve predefined treatment objectives.

- Independently administer counseling and psychotherapy services tailored to individuals, groups, couples, and families, adhering strictly to the scope of licensure or certification.

- Offer expert consultation to colleagues regarding the psychosocial needs of patients and the implications of psychosocial challenges on healthcare outcomes and treatment adherence.

- Engage in professional peer reviews, case conferences, research initiatives, or any other collaborative activities mandated by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

**Work Schedule:**

- Monday to Friday, with 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

- No scheduled work on weekends or holidays.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Degree:** A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is required. -

**Education:** Must be a graduate of a School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). -

**Experience:** A minimum of one year of relevant experience as a Social Worker in the past three years is mandatory. -

**Licensure:** Candidates must hold and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. -

**Life Support Certification:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) is required. -

**Security Clearance:** Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully pass a government background check and obtain necessary security clearance.
