AR DME Claims

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and work DME AR and billing claims , with a focus on Inogen oxygen claims
• Process and actively work a minimum of 30 claims per day due to current backlog
• Follow up with insurance payors (Medicare and commercial) via phone and portals to resolve unpaid, denied, or pending claims
• Identify and take appropriate action on claims, including:
  • Securing payment
  • Correct write‑offs
  • Reworking and resubmitting denied claims

Qualifications

• Prior experience in DME billing and accounts receivable (required)
• Strong familiarity with Medicare billing and claims and insurance payor requirements
• Experience working insurance claims end‑to‑end, including payer follow‑ups
• Brightree experience is a plus
• Comfortable working high claim volumes and strict productivity metrics
• Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Charlotte,NC.
