About the Position: We are seeking a motivated Licensed Civil Engineer to lead project teams and manage the technical lifecycle of land development projects. This role requires a heavy design background—specifically in permitting and construction plans—alongside the ability to handle administrative tasks like team assignments and scheduling. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, providing weekly updates and ensuring that all technical evaluations and designs meet our high standards for efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Design & Permitting: Design and permit construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment, and water/sewer systems. Infrastructure Design: Lead designs for roadways, pump stations, and force mains. Project Management: Handle administrative tasks, including project team assignments and scheduling to ensure timely delivery. Agency Coordination: Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain all necessary construction permits. Technical Communication: Produce detailed technical reports and communicate weekly project updates directly to clients. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal team members to execute technical evaluations and designs efficiently. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent experience). Licensure: Professional Engineering (PE) License is required. Technical Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required. Communication: Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills are essential for client and agency interaction. Experience: Proven background in designing and permitting complex construction plans. Preferred Qualifications Specialized Software: Experience with Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad. Project Niche: Direct experience with land development projects. Leadership: Ability to mentor early-career professionals and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
