Product Manager – Variable Frequency Drives
Overview
Growing industrial automation organization seeking a Product Manager – VFD to lead strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial growth for variable frequency drives (VFD) and power quality solutions. This role blends technical expertise with market ownership and sales enablement.
Responsibilities
Own VFD product lifecycle and portfolio strategy
Drive revenue, margin, and market share growth
Support technical sales and customer applications
Conduct competitive and market analysis
Lead cross-functional collaboration (engineering, sales, operations)
Support product launches and go-to-market execution
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years in industrial automation
Strong customer-facing and technical selling background
Hands-on expertise with:
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Motor control & variable speed systems
Power quality, filtering & conditioning
Factory automation & process control environments
Control loops
Preferred OEM Experience
Experience with major drive manufacturers such as:
ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Yaskawa, Danfoss, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Omron, Nidec, Lenze, Invertek, or similar.
