Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Rockingham

Overview

UNC Health Rockingham has a current need for a Board Certified/Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) to join our inpatient Hospitalist team. This is a full time (1.0 FTE) position. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an inclusive team of professionals, dedicated to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience and clinical support on the Hospitalist team.
• Average daily census of 28-32 patients (total).
• Provide inpatient coverage with 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm), averaging 14 shifts per month.
• Collaborate with specialty and subspecialty support including Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, and Orthopedics.
• Open ICU with support from Registered Nurses, Cardiac Technicians, and Respiratory Therapists.
