HVAC Service Technician – Henson Heating and Cooling
Location: Charlotte Metro Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Service Manager

Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. This role demands technical expertise, professionalism, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups.
Communicate clearly with customers about system issues and recommended solutions.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Ensure all work meets company and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and job site.
Participate in ongoing training and certifications as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in HVAC service or maintenance.
EPA Section 608 Certification required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoor conditions.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Capable of standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
