Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Financial Institutions in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and regular patrols will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment for clients and staff. This is an armed post, requiring a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, demonstrating good judgment under pressure.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas within the financial institution location.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
- Assist with the enforcement of policies related to the possession and use of weapons, as required by the armed post profile.
- Collaborate with staff and law enforcement personnel as needed to support overall security-related objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
