Laboratory Technician
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location-Type: Onsite (Raleigh, NC)
Start Date Is: 2/1/26 or two weeks from offer
Duration: 6 months (Contract)
Compensation Range: $20-25/hour
Job Description:
The Laboratory Technician supports laboratory testing operations by preparing samples, operating test equipment, executing test plans, and documenting accurate results to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory test equipment
-
Build or adapt test setups based on test plans and engineering guidance
-
Execute defined test plans and datasheets
-
Examine samples, blueprints, schematics, and test standards
-
Record, analyze, and report test data and results
-
Communicate with engineers, management, and clients during test setups
-
Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of equipment
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
Requirements:

Must-Haves:
-
Higher Secondary Education with 3 years of related laboratory or testing experience
-
Experience operating laboratory or test equipment
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to follow test standards, procedures, and documentation requirements

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience working with test automation
-
Exposure to calibration activities
-
Prior client-facing or customer interaction experience

Background in regulated or standards-based testing environments
