Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Representative to join our team as one of the first direct sales hires. In this role, you will be introducing our innovative VR-based pain management platform to healthcare providers within the VA and DoD across a multi-state territory. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the adoption of a novel therapeutic solution, requiring strong relationship-building skills, creativity, and a passion for education and advocacy.

Your experience with disruptive technologies or launching new products will be key to success. Whether leveraging existing relationships or building new ones within the VA and DoD, you will drive new business and make a meaningful impact in the first year. Expect to engage in persistent outside sales efforts, spending a significant portion of your time educating and demonstrating the value of this groundbreaking product.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage a multi-state territory through frequent in-person visits to meet sales objectives (4-5 days of in-field sales activities per week, with 1-2 overnight stays).
Introduce and educate healthcare providers about our innovative VR pain management platform within VA/DoD facilities.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with healthcare professionals to encourage daily prescriptions and utilization of our product.
Advocate for the evidence supporting VR-based therapeutics as a novel solution for chronic pain.
Identify and act on sales leads independently, effectively prioritizing tasks with minimal supervision.
Leverage your knowledge of reimbursement strategies to establish a strong book of business.
Represent the company at industry meetings and trade shows to promote our platform.
Document sales activities for clear pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting.
Adapt strategies to meet the needs of emerging sales channels or programs.
Conduct all sales activities ethically, adhering to company policies, regulations, and laws.

Qualifications

Preferred: 2+ years of B2B or medical sales experience (e.g., prescriptive DME, pharmaceutical, or medical devices).
Preferred: Existing relationships within the VA/DoD; veterans are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience selling disruptive technologies or launching new products is a plus.
Knowledge of the pain management market and current telehealth trends.
Familiarity with device reimbursement and CPT codes in the DME market.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in a startup environment.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and location.
Additional Compensation: Competitive commission plan, car allowance, and equity opportunities.

Benefits:

Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
401k retirement plan with a 4% employer match.
Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability benefits.
Employee assistance program, remote work stipend, and car allowance for field representatives.
Flexible time off for vacations and 11+ paid holidays.
Sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (up to 72 hours).
Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.

Location

This role is based in Charlotte, NC, or Knoxville, TN, covering a territory that includes South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama. Regular travel within the region (4-5 days per week) and 1-2 overnight stays per week are expected.

Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our team values respect, mutual support, and equal opportunities for all. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are dedicated to accommodating individuals with disabilities to ensure they have the resources needed to succeed.
