Analyst Inventory Management

Job Posting: Analyst, Inventory and Supply Planning The primary responsibility is to provide timely analysis of current and projected inventory levels as it relates to achieving the strategic objectives of improved cash flow and service to the customer. This position is accountable for the data integrity, inventory optimization and process improvement as it relates to safety stock and days of supply. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing input and guidance to achieve the overall inventory quality including Open to buy reporting, turns/inventory age analysis, and reporting for other inventory metrics. The position will rely heavily on BI tools to quickly and effectively communicate findings. Provides help with developing department analytics reporting relating to inventory and fill rate execution. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall reporting of inventory quality and turns. Provide analysis of safety stock levels and model impact service level/production location
• Assist the inventory roll process, ensuring that the established inventory thresholds for each business area are achieved by leveraging the Open to buy process and distressed inventory process to drive inventory to designated performance metrics.
• Provide reporting and input into the Inventory management/Open to buy process for key business areas, working closely with finance, merchandising and Supply Planning managers to achieve balanced inventory allowing for high service levels with appropriate inventory levels.
• Assist in creating/running reporting to support the Supply Planning team
• Lead special projects related to optimized inventory and improved supply planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field required
• Master's/advanced degree preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of relational databases and demonstrated proficiency in Power BI
• Previous demand planning or supply planning experience a plus
