As a **Security Officer - Government Patrol Bike Route** in **Cary, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
+ Document and report any incidents, observations, or issues according to company and client protocols.
+ Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as directed during incidents and/or emergencies.
+ Maintain a professional presence while interacting with visitors, staff, and/or the public at the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Able to ride a bike.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
