Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Physical Therapist position is available for the full school year, beginning in August, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to provide therapeutic support in a school setting, helping students improve their functional abilities and succeed academically.

Location:This position is based in Wilmington, NC, providing services across the K-12 spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals with educational objectives.
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions to improve movement, coordination, strength, and overall physical function.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials.
• Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Familiarity with educational environments and IEP processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work part-time hours effectively within a school calendar.
