Skills and Competencies

  • Minimum five years of experience as a business systems analyst within a large organization
  • Strong understanding of internal service systems (IT Support, HR, Finance, etc.) and processes
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple lines of business to gather, interpret and translate needs into clear business and technical requirements
  • Proficiency in writing user stories and acceptance criteria using Jira or similar tools
  • Basic understanding of API endpoints and how they support system functionality
  • Experience creating test cases and test plans to validate successful system delivery
  • Demonstrated proficiency with artificial intelligence solutions and tools, with the ability to incorporate AI capabilities into requirements and workflows


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field preferred


Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements to accelerate development across multiple lines of business
  • Collaborate with partners across lines of business to gather, document and refine requirements for new and existing system functionality
  • Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications that enable engineers to move quickly and confidently
  • Create structured test cases, metrics and validation steps to ensure quality system delivery
  • Partner with engineering teams building Enterprise solutions with an initial focus on IT help desk, HR, Finance, Facilities, Legal and Compliance scenarios
  • Translate complex business processes into streamlined digital workflows that improve user experience and operational efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps or inefficiencies and recommending data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product partners to troubleshoot issues and validate successful system releases


About the Team

Our Enterprise Technology team is responsible for designing and delivering integrated tools that support employees across the organization and enable operational excellence. The team contributes to improving workforce productivity enhancing cross-department collaboration and supporting scalable growth. By joining our team you will engage in impactful work across our Charlotte hub and broader US operations while helping implement advanced AI-enabled systems that streamline processes and support responsible AI adoption across the business.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $103,800.00-$150,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
