Industrial Paint Finishing Technician — Trailer Assemblies
A day in the life
In Creedmoor, NC, you arrive, review the day’s work orders, and stage a trailer for finishing. You’ll remove accessories and components, then scrub, sand, and mask every surface that needs coating. After calibrating your spray guns, you mix paint to spec, lay down smooth, even coats, and monitor curing. Before the trailer rolls on, you perform a careful inspection, touch up where needed, and coordinate with teammates to meet production timelines. You wrap up by cleaning gear, organizing your bay, and documenting safety checks.
What you’ll handle
- Disassemble and reassemble trailers and related accessories.
- Prepare substrates by cleaning, sanding, and masking to achieve an optimal finish.
- Mix coatings and apply paint/finishes precisely to specification.
- Operate, adjust, and maintain spray guns and other finishing equipment.
- Inspect completed work for quality and make necessary corrections.
- Coordinate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to support safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the paint shop.

- Experience in a paint shop or similar environment preferred.

- Mechanical aptitude.
