​ **About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to join Payment Operations. In this role you will be supporting applications used by the enterprise Wire Operations group within Chief Operating Office (COO). Learn more about our career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com ( **In this role, you will:** + Partner with Wire Operations, Technology and UAT teams to implement new applications or work on changes to existing applications + Define, refine, and prioritize the team backlog aligned with Program PI objectives + Write clear features for development teams to decompose into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure business context + Work with the team to scope iteration goals and balance capacity vs. commitment + Develops Jira stories to document requirements + Manage the Jira backlog and ensure proper Jira hygiene + Identify opportunities to leverage capabilities across value streams + Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives + Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations + Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business + Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership + Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience + Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures + Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners + Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics + Support requirements definition via operational stakeholder elicitation, collaboration with Tech partners on black-box testing, and analysis of data to derive requirements + Collaborate closely with Dev Team partners to refine feature requirements and support translation into user stories + Identify cross-impacts/interdependencies and collaborate with Value Stream Leads and Capability Product Managers + Act as proxy for customers and business stakeholders within the team + Ensure deliverables support capability, product, or value stream outcomes **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education ​ **Desired Qualifications:** + Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment + Advanced business analysis skills including the ability to perform discovery to understand business processes and determine target state solutions + Knowledge and experience using AI tools or automation to conduct process discovery and capture business requirements + Ability to apply various problem-solving techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Customer Journey Mapping, or Service Design + Experience acting as a product owner and/or providing production support, writing stories in Jira, and working with Scrum teams + Ability to manage and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, effectively resolving competing objectives, priorities and conflicts as they arise + Experience leading the definition and delivery of large-scale complex and strategic initiatives from inception to implementation + Knowledge and understanding of complex IT environments: cross-functional areas, large number of interfaces and data sources + 3+ years of payments, wires or operations experience + Experience working with various payment networks such as HV RTGS systems (Fedwire, CHIPS), Swift Network and ISO 20022 messaging standards + Experience managing product backlogs and aligning stakeholders on prioritization tradeoffs + Knowledge and understanding of operational processes and operational risk management + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important + Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities + Ability to understand operational processes + Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to tailor communications to the intended audience + Expert/Advanced Jira skills and experience maintaining Jira board hygiene + Advanced Microsoft Office Skills ​ **Job Expectations:** + Ability to work on-site at the work location + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship **Location:** + 1525 W W T Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28262 _Required location(s) listed above.
