Joshua Tree Experts , the Raleigh/Durham area's premier outdoor home service company, is actively hiring a Hybrid Climber / Sales Arborist . This role is the perfect transition for an experienced climber who wants the best of both worlds: keeping your hands on the saw while learning how to quote jobs, consult with clients, and drive revenue.

The Schedule (3 Days Canopy / 2 Days Consulting): This is a structured hybrid role. Three days a week, you are in the saddle, running advanced rigging and leading the production crew. Two days a week, you are walking properties, diagnosing tree health, and closing deals.

Choose Your Own Path: We built this role for flexibility. If you love the 3/2 split, you can stay in this hybrid mode permanently. If you eventually decide you want to hang up your saddle and transition into a full-time Arborist Account Manager, the path is wide open. You dictate your career trajectory.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Production (3 Days/Week):

• Advanced Climbing & Rigging: Execute safe, efficient, and technically advanced pruning and tree removals .

• Crew Leadership: Lead by example on the job site. You know what it takes to get a job done efficiently, and you help set the pace and safety standards for the ground crew.

• Equipment & Safety: Ensure all climbing gear, rigging equipment, and chainsaws are inspected and maintained to industry safety standards.

Sales & Estimating (2 Days/Week):

• Client Consultations: Meet with high-end residential and commercial clients to assess their property, diagnose tree health issues, and identify hazards.

• Estimating & Closing: Build accurate, profitable quotes for tree care, plant health care, and removals. Follow up with clients and close contracts.

• Territory Building: Actively prospect and build relationships in your local Raleigh/Durham territory to generate your own leads and keep your pipeline full.

What You'll Need to Succeed (Requirements):

• Experience: 3+ years of professional, hands-on climbing and bucket truck experience in the tree care industry. You must be highly proficient in advanced rigging and safe removal techniques.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of tree biology, local species identification, and proper pruning standards.

• Credentials: ISA Certified Arborist credential is required (or the ability/willingness to obtain it within your first 6 months-we will sponsor this).

• Communication: You must be able to flip the switch from talking to a blue-collar crew to professionally advising an affluent homeowner.

• Driving: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
