Senior Construction Director (LSNA-NC)

We are looking for a passionate Senior Construction Director for our LSNA Cary, North Carolina area who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. As an important team leader, you will participate in the management and will be responsible of the design, coordination, execution and supervision of all technical and commercial aspects of the program including but not limited to Safety, Financial, Technical, ESG and Client Relations. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and deliver small- and large-scale capital projects. Responsibilities:
• Manage a large EPCM opportunities, responsible for all technical and commercial aspects of the program including but not limited to Safety, Financial, Technical, ESG and Client Relations.
• Responsible for monthly financial reporting requirements and forecasts.
• Responsible for leading all preconstruction planning and execution efforts during early and advanced design phases ensuring a construction lead EPCM approach
• Drive collaboration and innovation between design, procurement, and construction teams
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners
• Support business development with new and prospective pursuits.
• Encourage the project team to seek opportunities to deliver superior customer value and earn client loyalty.
• Serves as a representative of Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and reviews
• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of program to ensure that goals/ of the individual project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for the entire program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Develops and maintains effective communications and working relationships with client as well as staff
• Mentor, develop and coach team members
Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural/Engineering/Construction Management or related discipline; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 15 years of experience as Project or Construction Manager preferably in the Biopharma/Life Science Industry
• Planning, project management, staff management, and business development experience is required
• Must have strong project management/communication skills and effectively manage scope, schedule, and budgets for large, complex projects.
• Willingness to travel as needed
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field, not required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferred
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), preferred

Posted Salary Range: Minimum
158,500.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
240,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $158,500.00 to $240,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
