Retail Merchandiser / Stocker
Wilmington, NC 28401
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Primarily 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (must be flexible to work weekends)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently hiring Retail Merchandisers/Stockers to support a fast-paced beverage distribution operation in Wilmington, NC. This is a field-based position responsible for stocking, rotating, organizing, and maintaining beverage displays at customer retail locations. Candidates must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently throughout the day while visiting multiple accounts.

This is a send-to-start opportunity. Candidates must complete all onboarding paperwork, background requirements, and required documentation before starting.

Job Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise beverage products at assigned retail locations
• Ensure shelves, displays, coolers, and racks are fully stocked and organized
• Rotate product and maintain proper product presentation standards
• Maintain clean, neat, and current POS/display materials
• Assist sales and delivery teams by providing excellent service to retail accounts
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Follow company merchandising standards and safety guidelines
• Travel between customer locations as needed throughout the workday
• Complete all additional duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) check
• Must pass a 7-year background check
• Must pass a 5-panel drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must provide proof of personal auto insurance meeting required coverage limits
• English speaking and understanding required for safety purposes (bilingual candidates encouraged to apply)
• Strong customer service and time management skills
• Ability to work weekends and maintain reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and carry beverage cases up to 46 lbs regularly
• Push/pull pallet jacks with force up to 90 lbs occasionally
• Reach above shoulders and below knees frequently
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment

• Pants (no jeans)
• Collared shirt

Additional Information

• Weekly Pay
• Pay Week: Sunday – Saturday
• Pay Day: Friday
• Temp-to-hire opportunity after 480 hours
