This position requires a willingness to learn, a genuine desire to help others and a natural understanding of the effects of addiction on an individual. CADCs work directly with clients to provide counseling and help them develop healthy coping mechanisms.
Responsibilities:- Help individuals and families with an addiction to alcohol, drugs, or another substance.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling to patients.
- Refer patients to appropriate community organizations and outside programs.
- Explain addiction and its effects on the family.
- Identify issues and create goals and treatment plans.
- Counsel patients on social issues including housing, employment, education, family issues, and basic living skills.
- Counsel individuals or families affected by substance abuse.
- Peer Support Specialist's encouraged to apply!
Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 depending on experience.
