POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The incumbent lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains electrical systems and related equipment for assigned projects.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews blueprints and specifications to determine work sequence and procedures to complete all contracted work through the development of a schedule.
- Plans and installs wiring for pump motors, air handling systems, compressors, HVAC systems, chillers, generators, appliances, and other machinery.
- Plans, installs, and services temporary power to various crews during the early stages of projects.
- Installs conduit systems for power distribution, branch circuits, lighting, and other electrical systems.
- Plans and installs lighting systems and/or individual fixtures throughout given projects.
- Pulls all home run wires that run inside/outside slabs with pullers or coordinates for manual pulling.
- Tests circuits for compatibility, integrity, and isolation of current as needed.
- Checks delivered fabricated equipment for QA/QC accuracy.
- Uses hand tools to make any alterations for installed equipment to ensure per spec installation.
- Hangs thread to steel supports from ceiling joists or concrete slabs to support electrical trays.
- Installs, terminates, and bends all different types of conduit and gauge of wires.
- Completes as-built drawings for all completed work and all remodels as required by contract.
- Facilitates knowledge transfer and teaches trade skills to less experienced tradespeople.
- Fabricates or alters parts at construction sites as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position operates primarily in the field. Jobsite work is likely to entail varying exposure to weather, potentially harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, dangerous machinery, and/or other conditions typically associated with a live construction site.

TRAVEL:
- This position may require up to 90% travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-6 years of mechanical contracting experience.
- Must be construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and Google products.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.
- Capacity to leverage leadership skills to facilitate learning, teamwork, and collaborative relationships.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed OSHA 30-Hour Training.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
