Salary Range: $56,160.00 $98,000.00 + Full Benefits
Shift Info: Full-Time | 36 hours/week | All Shifts Available

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on established clinical practice standards. The RN may also assume charge nurse duties as assigned, contributing to a team-oriented and patient-centered environment.

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.

• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and accurately.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.

• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.

• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, providing leadership and coordination for unit staff.

• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.

Licensure & Certification:

• Current RN license through the Board of Nursing

• BLS certification (AHA) required

• ACLS preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Effective organizational and leadership abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific patient needs and nursing care

• Physically able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and move patients and equipment
