RPSGT - PRN - Granville Health - Oxford, NC

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an  experienced  RPSGTs to work PRN at Granville Health System, Oxford, NC. This position will provide sleep services on an as needed basis during night time hours. Competitive hourly rates available, depending on experience and patient ratio.

Responsibilities will include:

· Facilitating tests and collecting data

· Responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results

· Responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks

· Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review

· Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

Job Requirements:

· Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program

· Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

· Current BCLS certification

· Vaccination and immunization records or titers may required

1. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

3. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
