Description

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a Transport Driver to drive program participants between their home and our day program safely and with care. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers getting in and out of the vehicles from their home or day program.
• Provide a positive and safe transport atmosphere for program participants.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina State Driver's License
• Pass Drug Screen and criminal background check.
• Clean motor vehicle record (No major moving violations, No major cited accidents, No convictions for a seat belt violation.)
• Familiar with using an iPhone or Android smart phone & must have basic email and Internet usage experience.
• Must pass CPR, NCI and other agency specific trainings.
• Must be 25 or older

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to drive a 15-passenger van.

Hours
Approximately 7:00-9:00 and 2:30-4:30 (may be subject to change depending on program needs)

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
