Seasonal / Part-Time (Summer & Break Camps)
Are you a master of the written word and a wizard of the podium? GradePower Learning Cary is looking for an energetic, creative, and organized Camp Coordinator & Instructor to lead our premier English Language & Creativity camps.
At GradePower Learning, we don’t just tutor; we help students develop the cognitive skills they need to succeed for a lifetime. We are looking for an educator who can transform "boring" writing into an adventure and turn a shy student into a confident debater.
Position Requirements:
This isn't your average "sit and work" tutoring role. You will be the architect and the face of our specialty camps. Your mission: to design and deliver high-energy sessions that focus on:
Creative Writing & Storytelling: Helping students find their voice through narrative and imaginative play.
The Power of Persuasion: Teaching the fundamentals of Debate , Group Discussion , and Public Speaking .
Academic Foundations: Masterclasses on paragraph structure and formal Essay Writing .
Camp Coordination: Managing schedules, organizing materials, and ensuring a fun, safe, and productive environment for all campers.
An Expert Communicator: You know your way around an Oxford comma, but you also know how to command a room.
A Creative Spirit: You can design curriculum that makes learning "The Art of the Paragraph" feel like a game.
A Natural Leader: You enjoy coordinating logistics and leading a group of young, curious minds.
Experienced: You have a background in Education, English, Communications, or a related field (Prior experience with GradePower or similar learning centers is a huge plus!).
We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Teaching certification an asset

Smiles, High-Fives & Happy Students:
In this position, you will play a key role in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem. The rewards of helping children overcome academic hurdles and realize their inner potential can be very fulfilling. You will be rewarded with smiling faces and high-fives during every shift. Other rewards of the role include:
- fun staff events
- ongoing training opportunities
- frequent check-ins and feedback
- company growth opportunities
- hands-on development of your teaching skills
