Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Greensboro, NC! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for organization, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy.
- Move materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
