A Day in the Role

Morning: You kick off with a quick safety huddle, scan work orders, and review drawings for the day’s installs and repairs. You assign tasks, align priorities, and verify that tooling, materials, and PPE are set.

Midday: On the floor, you diagnose mechanical issues with precision—whether it’s a gearbox vibration, a misaligned conveyor, or a pump seal. You lead alignment, welding (MIG/TIG/stick), fabrication, and machine rebuilds, ensuring fixes are both accurate and durable. You interpret schematics to guide the team through complex adjustments.

Afternoon: You drive corrective and preventive work, document solutions, and collaborate on continuous improvement. You mentor millwrights and maintenance techs, reinforcing craftsmanship, safety standards, and best practices.

What You’ll Lead

• Mentor, direct, and support millwrights and maintenance technicians on mechanical repairs and installations
• Diagnose issues on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and related systems
• Read and apply blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics
• Execute and oversee high-quality welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG/stick)
• Install, align, dismantle, and rebuild industrial machinery to spec
• Champion safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Proven millwright skill set with hands-on mechanical aptitude
• Leadership/foreman experience or readiness to step up and lead
• Methodical troubleshooting—you diagnose, not guess
• Fluency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong welding and fabrication capabilities (MIG, TIG, stick)
• Comfort working on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and bearings
